My Volunteering

I suppose I’ve always volunteered. My mum used to volunteer so it just seems like a natural thing for me to do. I think the meaning of life is to try to make the world a better place, to care for Mother Nature, to mind each other, to help people who need a hand, to make friends and enjoy doing all of the above. Everyone can have a part to play so there are many  volunteering opportunities out there and we can all find something that suits us.

I think I am currently involved in volunteerng for  about twenty different organisations and campaigns that I believe make the world a better place.

I’m not expecting everyone to do that but if everyone just did their bit wouldn’t that be great?

Of course you need to find something that suits your interests and your availability. The amazing Clare Volunteer Centre will give you a great welcome and support you. You’ll meet lots of people and be helping to make County Clare an even greater place to live than it is already.

I am very excited to be a part of the organising committee for European Volunteering Capital 2027. It promises to be a great year ahead for Co. Clare. Come and join us.
