Clare Traveller CDP

It is an honour for Clare Traveller Community Development Group (CTCDP) to be a member of the European Volunteering Capital (EVC) 2027 Steering Group. As the first Traveller-led organisation in County Clare.

The support and collaboration of partner organisations play a vital role in what we achieve. By working together, and through the generosity of volunteers who give their time, we are better able to provide much-needed support to the Traveller community.

The success of our work depends on building strong Traveller leadership, supporting self-determination, and recognising the wealth of talent, experience, and expertise that already exists within our community. It also relies on maintaining and strengthening the valuable partnerships we have built with local service providers and statutory agencies, particularly across accommodation, education, health, and social enterprise.

By working together, we can continue to create opportunities, address challenges, and build a stronger, more inclusive future for the Traveller community. We also look forward to continuing to work in solidarity with the many diverse communities across County Clare, because lasting change is achieved through collaboration, mutual respect, and shared purpose.

Our involvement in the European Volunteering Capital 2027 Steering Group reflects our dedication to promoting the value of volunteering and encouraging active community participation across County Clare. We are proud to work alongside our partners to celebrate the commitment of volunteers, inspire more people to become involved in their communities, and help create a lasting culture of volunteering that will benefit County Clare for years to come.
